Sensei Dean Beairsto started training in Goshinkan Ju Jitsu in April 2003 under the founder. Sensei Dean Beairsto is a 2nd-degree black belt in Goshinkan-Ryu Ju Jitsu awarded on May 30, 2015, by Shihan K.D. Lintott, Headmaster of the style and president of the Alberta Ju-Jitsu Association (AJJA). On December 23, 2006, Sensei Beairsto passed his Shodan test.

Sensei Dean trained exclusively under Shihan K.D. Lintott for ten years. Sensei Dean has always been an inspiration and assisted Shihan Lintott greatly in running the Little Samurai and Shogun programs.

Sensei Dean Beairsto is a Doshin (Officer) in Edo Machi-kata Taiho-Jutsu.

Sensei Beairsto has recently come back into the fold to assist in running the Calgary dojo, he works hard to encourage the growth of the AJJA and the Goshinkan style, and its members, by providing the necessary leadership to ensure its goals and objectives are achieved.
